The World Plastics Council (WPC) invites you to save the date for our executive-level breakfast roundtable on Sunday, 22nd September, at 8:30 am at The Westin New York Grand Central, on the sidelines of this year’s United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
The 90-minute roundtable will convene 20-30 leaders from the plastics industry, financial institutions, governments, and the United Nations to discuss sustainable financial mechanisms for the Global Plastics Treaty. This discussion is timely as industry and governments navigate the establishment of these mechanisms to align financial flows from the public and private sectors.
We invite participants to provide their perspectives on exploring opportunities for public-private partnerships, win-win solutions, and capacity building. We trust that this dialogue will feed into a well-crafted agreement, thereby accelerating industry and government efforts towards circularity.
Please RSVP here to indicate your interest. Should you be unable to participate, we kindly welcome your suggestion to extend this save-the-date to a distinguished colleague on your behalf. Please note that your participation will be confirmed by email.
We look forward to collaborating with you on 22nd September to explore sustainable finance mechanisms for the Global Plastics Treaty through a multi-stakeholder action agenda.
